I worked between SACCO stakeholders, business teams, and engineering to translate financial-services needs into implementable product requirements. The role involved understanding customer processes across Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda and defining how those needs should be supported by Wakandi’s CAMS platform and its mobile, USSD, and web channels.
Execution
- Conducted stakeholder interviews and captured business processes and user requirements for more than 250 SACCOs across the three markets.
- Defined configuration specifications and business-analysis requirements, negotiated priorities, and translated business needs into technical direction for the CAMS transition.
- Coordinated communication between business units, development teams, banks, and mobile network operators to align the product and its integrations.
- Designed A/B testing frameworks and produced analysis and reporting on application development, deployment, and performance.
Results
- Delivered requirements and configuration specifications that supported SACCO transitions to the CAMS platform.
- Captured the needs of more than 250 SACCOs, giving product and engineering teams a concrete basis for delivery.
- Produced testing frameworks and performance insights to inform product and strategic decisions.
